GCSE Results Summer 2024
We our proud to announce an increase in attainment across many subjects this year with a special mention for Christopher, Ikenna, Jordan, Angus and Ambrose who all secured multiple Grade 9s.
Students at St Columba's Catholic Boys' School celebrated a set of exam results once again above the boys' national average figure - a real achievement in a selective Borough. Particularly strong results in Triple Science, Modern Foreign Languages, RS and Art sit well alongside a pleasing numbers of students going on to take A Level maths having achieved the high grades they needed and the continuing trend of improvement in English Language which is essential for students for their next steps. This is a testament to their hard work, resilience and determination.
Headteacher Dave Evans commented "I am pleased that so many of our St Columba's boys in the Class of 24 have responded to our challenge to Rise Above; high expectations have seen them achieve grades that have enabled the students to take up a wide range of Post 16 places from A levels at Christ the King or local grammar schools, through vocational courses at other sixth form providers to apprenticeships. The results are testament to the hard work of the students supported by all the fantastic staff at St Columba's."
